Planning permission granted for building of new courts

(November 30, 2011)
Rainford Tennis Club are delighted to announce that St Helens Council have granted planning permission for the building of three additional new tennis courts at the Jubilee Recreation Ground.

As part of the Club's five year strategy to increase tennis opportunities for the people of Rainford and the surrounding areas, it is proposed that three new porous macadam tennis courts will be built adjacent to the existing shale courts.

"Obtaining planning permission is a significant step along the way to achieving our dreams of growing our facilities and getting more people playing tennis" said Club Secretary, John Case.
