Success celebrated at 2013 Presentation Evening
(October 11, 2013)The 2013 Rainford Tennis Presentation Evening took place at Rainford Labour Club this evening and was a celebration of success for tennis in the village over the past year.
The fifth annual presentation evening was attended by members, friends, family and supporters of Rainford Tennis Club and an enjoyable evening was had by all.
Trophies were presented to all the winners from our 2013 Club Tournament and our younger players were presented with their LTA Mini Tennis Rally Award certificates, which they have been working towards all summer.Cameron Ashley-Jones was presented with the Junior Player of the Year award for his success in competitions both inside and outside the Club this year.
The evening, which also included food, disco and raffles, raised around £500 for tennis in Rainford.
