Great British Tennis Weekend comes to Rainford
(May 14, 2017)Rainford Tennis Club hosted an Open Day as part of the national Great British Tennis Weekend and there were more than 100 people in attendance trying tennis for free.
The Open Day gave adults, children and families from the local area to try the Club’s facilities and have a go at various tennis activities, including Mini Tennis, Cardio Tennis and there was also a Parent & Child Tournament.
Volunteers and coaches from the Club were also on hand to provide information for new members and there was also a BBQ for everyone who came along.
“We would like to thank everyone who came along and joined in the Great British Tennis Weekend here in Rainford” said Club Chairman, Ron Hamilton.”We look forward to seeing everyone back on court very soon.”
