Maisie wins at City of Liverpool Tennis Tournament
(February 14, 2011)Rainford Tennis Club player Maisie Lavelle has won the 8 & Under Singles at the 2011 City of Liverpool Tennis Tournament.
The seven year old won the competition, which took place on the indoor courts at Liverpool Tennis Centre.
Maisie, who is coached at Rainford Tennis Club, won all her matches at the tournament including a 12-10 victory in the final against Molly O’Donoghue.
Rainford players Cameron Ashley-Jones, Adam Ashton, Joe Machin and Conor Porteus will also be competing at the week-long Grade 3 tournament.
