Cameron and Maisie win at Southport Spring Open
(April 15, 2014)There were two winners from Rainford Tennis Club at this week’s Southport Spring Open as both Cameron Ashley-Jones and Maisie Lavelle came home with trophies.
Cameron was victorious in the 14 & Under Boys Singles coming through a strong field of players in the week-long competition at Sphynx Tennis Club in Southport. 10 year old, Maisie was also a winner lifting the trophy in her first tournament win in the 12 & Under Girls age-group.
“This is a great way to start the summer season for both Cameron and Maisie” said Steve Vincent from Rainford Tennis Club. “We are looking forward to another successful year for our players and teams from the Green Army and this has been a perfect start.”
